Within Philips Lighting Internal Audit, Fraud Investigations and Customer Screenings (FICS) supports in the definition, implementation and maintenance of the Company’s global compliance policies, procedures and standards for the identification and assessment of compliance risks.
In view of compliance with the Philips General Business Principles (GBP), FICS has installed a customer screening team to support the business in the execution of screenings on third parties
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing screenings on Philips third parties and report back in line with prescribed procedures.
Interacting and engaging with different stakeholders during the searches.
Documenting findings and conclusions in line with the prescribed tools and methods.
You are part of a global Fraud Investigations and Customer Screenings team with offices in The Netherlands, Singapore and China. The internship will be based in Amsterdam.
This is a non-thesis internship, with the focus on providing you with work experience in a multinational corporate environment. The internship will have a duration of 6 months and the candidates should be available to start as soon as possible.

To be successful in this internship we are
looking for you:
Currently studying towards your HBO Bachelor / Bachelor of Science / Master of science WO in: Law, Finance, Business Administration, (International) Business Management, Communications, Economics, Journalism, Languages, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Supply Chain Management
Fluency in the English language (reading and writing). Second European language at a fluent level is a must (Dutch excluded – preferably German, Spanish, Italian, Slavic languages)
You will receive an internship allowance; the exact amount depends on your situation. (also towards rented accommodation or public transport
The student is entitled to paid leave on the basis of 1 day per month.

Non EU students in Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be compulsory part of your studies (receive ECTS in turn). In case of non-compulsory internship, you need to encompass a letter from the university in which it states that the internship contributes to your personal development, what your learning goals will be and what tasks you will carry out during the internship. The letter has to be signed and stamped by your university.
Non EU students in non-Dutch Universities: You need to be registered as a student and the internship should be compulsory part of your studies. Also, you need to be able to get official approval of your university for this internship (Nuffic agreement).
