Marketing & Communications intern at Metabolic

The marketing and communications team breaks down the large amounts of complexity that is often involved in our work so that it makes sense to everyone and offers opportunities for action. The team also provides insight and activates key stakeholders to new ways of thinking. The team raises awareness, educates, and builds thought leadership.
We’re looking for people with a background in communication, marketing, PR or similar, having some experience with sustainability and a lot of experience with content production. But we are open to applications from students with a variety of backgrounds as long as you can demonstrate an understanding of marketing and communications.
In your role, you’ll get hands on with content production, community building, social media strategy, media and influencer engagement, stakeholder management, copywriting and event management. You’ll also be working closely with the Director of Communications, and alongside our interdisciplinary team of international sustainability consultants.

Understanding of the basics of marketing and communication
A basic understanding of sustainability and environmental issues

The internship has a somewhat flexible starting date, but should begin roughly at the start of September 2017. The internship lasts 5-6 months and should be a 4-5 days / week commitment.
