Optimise the Order to Cash process for the Foot Locker & Runners Points Accounts
As a Customer Service Intern he/she will support the business in order to achieve sales & profitability objectives whilst ensuring a reliable, adequate and competitive Customer Service level for the adidas Group Key Accounts (adidas & Reebok). Shaping, continually optimising and documenting the Key Account Customer Service processes whilst taking the interests of the company and the customer into account. Customer visits in order to discuss current topics and gain greater insight into the organisations and business requirements of these customers.

Internship at the adidas Group:

The purpose of this internship is to provide the internship student with experience of the practical application of theoretical knowledge the internship student has already acquired at university and to acquire new skills and knowledge. This internship description contains tasks and responsibilities that will be learned step by step and the internship student will be accompanied by adidas employees at all times. adidas International/ Marketing /Trading B.V. will ensure that the internship student is given tasks and responsibilities according to the level of competence of the student and the educational objectives for the internship period. The internship student will sign an internship agreement, which is not an employment contract.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Sales Order Creation & Management: Enable SO creation by correct and in-time article and price set-up for relevant retail intro date
• Order Tracking & Delivery Management: Ensure on-time product availability aligned with the calculated cut-off/leadtime retail intro date
• Invoicing: Ensure all deliveries are invoiced in a timely manner
• Vendor Compliance: Ensure all product is delivered to the highest possible standards – packaging, labels etc
• Relationship Management: Ongoingly manage internal & external expectations concerning feasible delivery dates and other issue resolution

Profile

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Currently a Business or Logistics student at a university or other instance of higher education- Enrolled for the complete duration of the internship (6 months)
• Only applies to EU citizens due to working permit regulations
• Strong conflict management capabilities and excellent communication skills
• Process-oriented mindset
• Highly customer-oriented and cost-oriented approach
