Description of Organisation:

Objective:
The Global HR team is looking for a highly proactive, creative and enthusiastic recruitment intern who is curious and eager to learn more about the full recruitment cycle in an international company. The purpose of the role is to assist the Global HR team with daily recruitment/HR tasks including recruitment strategy, posting, sourcing, selecting and branding in line with our strategy.

The eager individual will be able to gain practical experience working in a diverse team of experienced HR professionals. The highly energetic team is committed to challenging the successful candidate’s skills and competencies through mentoring and on-the-job learning. More specifically, as a recruitment intern within the Global HR team you will contribute to the full recruiting cycle.

You will be a full member of the Global HR team, providing the Global HR team with tactical and operational support. You will also be responsible for your own individual HR projects such as the joiners, movers and leavers process.

Responsibilities:
• Creating vacancy texts and posting vacancies in the right recruiting channels
• Selecting CVs and conducting pre-screening interviews
• Supporting full-cycle recruitment activities company-wide
• Developing and executing recruitment plans based on job descriptions
• Communicating with all parties concerned
• Developing a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need to approach candidates to ask if they are interested in specific jobs in the near future
• Providing support in the onboarding and exit process
• Tracking all applications through the process by inputting each applicant in the applicant tracking log and filing all applicants who have been rejected in a central file
• Developing and coordinating timely interview schedules
• Emailing candidate resume (and any other required documents) and interview schedule to the interview team and candidate
• Communicating directly with candidates and coordinating all related travel arrangements following the corporate travel guidelines
• Managing and maintaining recruitment files

Other responsibilities:
• Assisting the Global HR Officer with day-to-day tasks
• Handling the joiners and leavers process

Key result areas / Deliverables:
• Ensuring all vacancies are up to date in the group vacancy tracker
• Keeping the talent pool up to date
• Maintaining the company LinkedIn recruitment page
• Helping to align employee processes
• Ensuring the proper flow of applicants to the hiring managers

Profile

Education / Professional qualifications / Language skills:
• To be eligible for this internship, candidates must be:
- enrolled in a graduate school programme (academic higher education - second university degree or equivalent), or
- in the 3rd or final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum academic higher education / Bachelor’s level or equivalent).
-graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Available for a minimum of 6 months full-time. If you are able to intern part-time only, please indicate how many days per week you are available during the internship period
• Preferably have done an internship in a large corporation
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, fluency in Dutch is a plus

Knowledge and experience:
• Global mindset and ability to work in a changing environment
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of LinkedIn recruitment is a plus
• Good planning and organisation skills
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organisation
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to work autonomously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
